The Dryden Police Service is working hard to ensure back to school time is a safe time.
Students return to the classroom next Wednesday.
Chief Doug Palson says their Community Services Officer is leading the educational campaign.
Palson says Denise Szachury will be very active with school bus safety presentations and evacuation exercises, straight through from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12.
He adds she will also focus on pedestrian safety, making sure kids get to and from school safely.
Palson adds all of their crossing guards are now receiving training.
