Dryden Receiving Nearly $42,000 From Gas Tax Fund

The City of Dryden now knows how much it will be getting from the provincial gas tax fund.

This year’s allocation is $41,720.

Natural Resources Minister Bill Mauro says the money will go towards improvements to the local public transit system.

The money is traditionally spent on Handi-Transit in Dryden, but work on a long term transportation strategy continues.

Kenora is receiving almost $148,000, while Fort Frances is getting $69,000.
