While the Dryden Regional Health Centre figures out what to do with its damaged CT Scan Unit, temporary measures are being put in place.
The current CT unit at the hospital recently suffered water damage and is beyond repair.
A Portable CT Scan Unit is at the hospital and should be ready for use soon.
Chief Executive Officer Wade Petranik says they hope to have it ready sometime next week, but it could take longer. Petranik says they required authorization from the X-ray inspection branch, the LHIN among others and they must test the equipment before it can be used.
