Dryden Remembers

It was an emotional morning at the Royal Canadian Legion and the Cenotaph as the City of Dryden marked Remembrance Day.
The main theme at the service at the Legion was remembering our veterans and carrying on that tradition.
It was stressed we have to encourage the younger generation to keep the memory of those who sacrificed their lives on.
A march to the Cenotaph followed the service where veterans, organizations, businesses and individuals laid the wreaths.
Senator Lynn Beyak was one of those involved to honour our veterans.
Despite the frigid temperatures, there was a huge turnout for both ceremonies.
Remembrance Day ceremonies will conclude tonight with a banquet at the Legion at 5:30.
