Dryden Rotary Club Looking For Your Pennies

Here’s the perfect opportunity to get rid of your now useless pennies.
The Dryden Rotary Club is hosting its ‘Pennies for Polio’ campaign on Saturday.
Sandra Boyko was a guest on the CKDR Morning Show today and she stressed the fight against this deadly disease is almost over.
Boyko says there were 213 cases of polio left in 2012 and they are 99% polio free.
She notes Rotary International has donated over $1-billion.
Natasha Lovenuk Markham says the federal government and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will each match every local penny raised.
The fundraiser is part of Rotary Day festivities on Saturday from ten until noon at the Library.
