Another successful Dryden Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade is in the books.
29-floats lined the streets to celebrate a “Canada 150” Christmas.
Ryan Graham and Brad Coles were guests on the CKDR Morning Show Monday to announce the float winners:
Business 1-10: Second Chance Pet Network
Business 10-50: TIMBERMAX
Business 50+: Domtar (Dryden High School Ambassador Club)
School: St. Joseph’s
Community: Eagle Lake First Nation/Dryden Police Service
Family: Bedard/Weigelt
Graham says they are making some parade day changes effective next year.
He notes the winners of the school category will be able to accompany Santa Claus on the parade route.
Next year’s theme has also been announced; “A Video Game Christmas”.
