DSSAB gets land ambulence bonanza

The Kenora District Services Board has recieved over 1.6 million dollars from the provincial government in the past
week to help pay for land ambulence service.

Sten Lif is the Chief Administrative Officer for the Services Board and says they received a large chunk of funding to help cover First Nation communities.

Lif adds the Services Board has also been promised an
additional 418 thousand dollars in base funding for
land ambulence service in 2006.
