The Kenora District Services Board will be getting just over 418 thousand dollars extra this year for it’s land ambulence service.
The McGuinty government announced it would be providing an
extra 300 million dollars over three years for land ambulence service back in February.
On Friday, the services board learned exactly how much would be coming their way.
Sten Lif is the Chief Administrative officer of the DSSAB
and says its still too early to determine the impact the money will have.
He says he needs to first see how much they will be getting from the Ministry of Health for all programs in 2006.
The provincial government has pledged to cover 50 percent of the land ambulence budget.
