The Winnipeg High School Football League has recognized a member of the Dryden Eagles for his performance in an opening week loss.
Dustin Landrie has been named co-winner of the Special Teams Player of Week #1.
Due to injuries, Landrie entered the game against Vincent Massey as the Eagles fourth punter.
He booted a 50-yard kick and ended the contest with five punts for an average of 34.4-yards.
Landrie and the Eagles will play their home opener and homecoming game Friday at 2:00pm against Sturgeon Heights.
