A stiff test to open the season for the Dryden Eagles High School Girls Hockey team.
The Eagles are in Thunder Bay for a weekend tournament and they dropped their opener to Confederation College 2-1.
Brenna Stratford scored Dryden’s lone goal.
The Eagles are back on the ice Saturday at 8am against the Winnipeg Silvertips.
