It’s crunch time as the Dryden Eagles open the Winnipeg High School Football Playoffs on the road Friday afternoon.
The Eagles face the Vincent Massey Vikings in a battle of 5-2 teams.
The Vikings defeated an injury depleted Eagles team 19-7 last week to tie the Eagles for third place.
Defensive Coordinator Neil McLeod says they didn’t play to their full potential and everyone appears to be healthy this week.
That includes All-Star Quarterback Jarett Hicks, who is scheduled to suit up.
McLeod says the Brandon team has a very good offensive line and they will have to find a way to generate some pressure.
He stresses it will be important to keep Vincent Massey between the two, 20-yard-lines.
The Quarter-Final game is being played at Eastside Field in Winnipeg and starts at 4:30.
