Early Years Centre Update

Early Years Centres should be established in the Kenora-Rainy River District sometime in the next 12-months.
Leanne Mineault has been appointed to lead the next phase of the project.
Mineault says she will spend the next six months working with local agencies to decide the best location for the early years centres.
The goal is to have the centres, geared for children under the age of six, up and running by April 2003.
The provincial government has set aside about a half a million dollars to operate the centres.
