Transport Canada is investigating an emergency landing at the Sioux Lookout Municipal Airport over the weekend.
O-P-P and the Sioux Lookout Fire Department were called to the scene.
Police say they received a report that an inbound Cessna 310 from Weagamow Lake had the smell of smoke in the cockpit.
There were also sparks and flames coming from the instrument panel.
A passenger and pilot helped to put out the fire.
The plane managed to land safely and no one was hurt.
There was a pilot and three passengers on board at the time of the incident.
