Confederation College is gaining in popularity.
The latest figures show more than 7,800 total learners served in 2014/2015, including nearly 1,200 aboriginal learners.
There are also roughly 1,300 students using the Virtual College program which provides flexible courses.
Stats show that 495-people relocated to northwestern Ontario from Southern Ontario.
89% of Confederation College students found employment within six months of graduation.
Enrolment at Ontario colleges have hit record levels.
Colleges Ontario says full-time enrolment is up 2.4% over last year’s numbers.
Con College President Jim Madder says their numbers continue to go up for International Students.
In fact, there are over 500 International students attending classes in 2015 and Madder stresses they are looking at a strategy to have these students take advantage of satellite campuses across the region.
