More students are attending class in the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board.
The latest enrolment figures show more than 4,900 students, 105-more than reported last October.
The Board had been projecting enrolment of about 4,700.
As a result, a total of 8 full-time teachers, a part-time instructor and 3 ECE teachers were hired.
Kenora saw growth across the board, while Queen Elizabeth in Sioux Lookout also saw significant growth.
