ER Wait Times Report For Local Hospitals

Dryden and Sioux Lookout are ahead of the game when it comes to hospital emergency wait times.

The Canadian Institute for Health Information says the average wait time at the Dryden Regional Health Centre is 2.1-hours, while wait times at the Meno-Ya-Win Health Centre are 2.4.

The average for medium sized hospitals and the province are both at 3 hours.

Statistics for Red Lake weren’t released.

The emergency wait time in Kenora is four hours, the highest in northwestern Ontario.

Nipigon and Atikokan share the shortest ER wait times in the region at just 1.4 hours.
