Firefly is launching a new program for children at risk in the Kenora district.
It’s called SNAP, which is short for Stop Now and Plan.
Cathy Lundin Neill is the program manager and says it’s aimed at kids who have anger management issues.
Neill says they will be launching a pilot project in May and rolling out two SNAP programs for boys and one for girls in the fall.
Kenora MP Greg Rickford has announced $2.4-million for the program over the next five years.
