A Fort Frances high school teacher is back for a second term as president of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation.
Paul Elliott has been re-elected.
He says it’s certainly a demanding job right now due to all the uncertainty surrounding teacher contracts.
Elliott says teachers don’t want to take job action, but might have to in order to put some pressure on local school boards to negotiate.
He notes while contract negotiations have started locally with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board, there hasn’t been a lot of headway on a new contract.
