Lakehead University Political Science professor Laure Paquette says the federal election is still anyone’s to win.
In analyzing the strategies of the major parties, she thinks it’s the Conservatives who have the most to lose, running the same campaign as they did last election.
She says the NDP strategy is focused on winning new seats, while the Liberal plan is to make up for the weaknesses of their leader.
Paquette adds the Green Party strategy is to not run candidates in all ridings, but rather focus on getting leader Elizabeth May and Thunder Bay’s Bruce Hyer back in Ottawa. (File photo)
