The Festive RIDE campaign is underway across northwestern Ontario.
The initiative wraps up on January 2nd.
Police will be out in full force looking for impaired drivers and dangerous drivers.
They are also asking the public to call 911 if they see anyone behind the wheel after drinking.
So far this year, Provincial Police have laid over 6,800 impaired driving charges.
They are urging the public to make arrangements if they plan on taking part in holiday festivities.
