Final Meeting For Dryden Mayor

Anne Krassilowsky presided over her final Council meeting Monday night.
The outgoing Dryden Mayor addressed Council and reminisced on her tenure.
Holding back tears, Krassilowsky stated she has no regrets.
Krassilowsky says her time was rewarding and being part of the growth of the community is enough thanks for years of service.
She also provided the incoming Council with some advice.
Krassilowsky told members to learn as much as you can and stay positive.
She says there’s so much potential for this community and stressed that Council must keep in constant contact with both levels of Government.
Krassilowsky’s resume includes 7-years as Mayor and 3-years as Councilor.
As part of the well wishes last night, Councilor Mike Wood stated that there’s not a single person in Ontario right now, who hasn’t heard of Dryden.
The meeting was also the final one for long-time Councilor Gary Case as well as Sid Wintle and Keith Sveinson, who filled in for a short period of time.
The new Dryden Council will be sworn in on December 6th.
