Ontario’s NDP Finance Critic says she’s hearing the concerns of northerners
Catherine Fife was in Thunder Bay Wednesday for pre-budget consultation hearings.
Fife says northerners are worried about cuts to health care and education.
She notes an affordable housing strategy is also needed.
Fife adds the province must also address the rising cost of electricity.
She says the Liberal government has been paying a lot of “lip service” to northern communities for a number of years.
