The government is now accepting applications for the new Ontario Student Assistance Program.
Loans and grants are available to anyone considering attending a provincial college or university this fall.
Premier Kathleen Wynne says the program includes making tuition free to more than 210,000 students.
Wynne says they need to ensure that every single person has access to post-secondary education in order to have a skilled workforce.
Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Development Deb Matthews says students don’t have to start paying back on the loans until six months after they’ve graduated from college or university.
