The City of Dryden ha been partially reimbursed for the cost of cleaning up and making repairs after major flooding last August.
Municipal Recovery Assistance Program Funding is kicking in, with nearly $499,000 coming to Dryden.
Chief Administrative Officer Ernie Remillard says a lot of work went into the application and Public Works and Finance staff led the way to compile their extensive and exhausting report.
Remillard says the total cost to clean-up was roughly $611,000, but notes a plan is in place to cover the difference.
Thunder Bay also helped the community earlier with a $5,000 donation.
