A Sault Ste. Marie man has been fined $1,000 for failing to immediately attach his game seal to a white-tailed deer.
Court heard that two men were spotted walking across a hydro corridor on Clearwater Lake Road in the Fort Frances District last October.
The conservation officer discovered an untagged deer that had been dragged from its original kill site in the direction of the men’s vehicle.
David Burmaster claimed responsibility of the deer, which was forfeited to the Crown.
