The Ministry of Natural Resources is upgrading the Forest Fire
Management Complex at the Greenstone Airport.
Regional Information Officer Debbie McLean says the investment will
improve efficiency and increase fire fighting capacity.

McLean says its part of the Province’s plan to move to land based
facilities and away from water based Fire Aviation Centres.
Modifications to the Dryden, Pickle Lake and Kenora bases have already
been made.
