Fire Safety For Students

The Kenora District Mutual Fire Aid Association wants students and families to be fire safe in the upcoming school year.
The association says some things to remember are:
– keep all exits clear
– make sure there’s a working smoke alarm on each level and check them each month
– have at least one working carbon monoxide alarm
– don’t re-heat food in the oven that is in cardboard
– know at least two ways out of the building
– clean our the lint trap in the dryder on a regular basis

The KDFMAA says students, parents and the fire services all play a major part in fire prevention.
