The Ministry of Natural Resources Fire Ranger Crews and
aircraft in the Northwest district are on high alert for
the Canada Day long weekend.
Aircraft will be making aerial detection patrols across
the region, in areas with lots of recreational activity,
and recent lightning strikes.
Fire information officer Debbie McLean says residents
should take the normal precautions.
