Fishing Fines In Time For Long Weekend

Northwestern Ontario lakes will be a popular destination this long weekend.
The Ministry of Natural Resources are reminding anglers to follow regulations and to report any violations.
Five American anglers have been fined a total of four thousand dollars after pleading guilty to fishing violations on Gage Lake, north of Sioux Lookout.
The men, from Wisconsin were fined for having ten walleye over the legal limit.
Three of the men were also charged for wasting fish, and obstructing conservation officers.
