The Northwestern Health Unit says 50 influenza cases
were reported this past flu season.
Spokesperson Cindy McKinnon says schools and daycares
were hit hard by the influenza bug.

McKinnon adds the majority of reported flu cases, were
not immunized. She notes for every reported case, there
are several more people affected in the community.
