Warm, dry conditions are keeping fire crews in this region on their toes.
Debbie MacLean, Fire Information Officer with the Ministry of Natural Resources, says crews have been kept busy dealing with 42-fires since the start of the season.
All blazes have been contained, however the fire hazard remains high across the region.
MacLean says more rain is needed to help reduce the threat of forest fires.
Meantime, no Northwest crews have been called upon to help battle out of control blazes in Northern Alberta and Saskatchewan.
