A familiar face in northwestern Ontario politics is set to make a return.
One time MP John Rafferty is expected to be confirmed Monday night as the provincial NDP candidate in Thunder Bay-Atikokan.
Riding Spokesperson Judith Monteith-Farrell says Rafferty is an excellent candidate because of his experience and knowledge of the riding.
Monteith-Farrell says they will also unveil some of their platform.
It will focus on hydro and free medication for all Ontarians.
