Fort Frances Addressing Border Issues

Fort Frances is calling on Ottawa and the Province for help dealing with lineups of vehicles waiting to cross into the United States.
Taxpayers in Fort Frances have been footing the entire bill for policing and managing the lines of cars at the border.
Town officials say Ottawa and the province have a financial and operational obligation to make sure border traffic is safe and orderly.
The town’s police services board has noted motorists cutting into line to get across the border has been a major safety concern.
