Fort Frances Selected To Host Dudley Hewitt Cup

The Fort Frances Lakers will play host to next spring’s Dudley Hewitt Cup.
The Superior International Junior Hockey League granted hosting rights for the Ontario Junior ‘A’ championship at its meeting on the weekend.
Lakers Coach Wayne Strachan says while it’s a direct berth for the team, he wants to ensure they’re competitive all season long.
A separate organizing committee is now being set up.
Fort Frances last hosted the tournament in 2003.
