Fraser Institute Releases New Study

According to the think tank the Fraser Institute the average Canadian family spends more on taxes than the basic necessities.

A new survey says over the past five decades the tax bill for the average family has ballooned.

In 2014, an average family earned just over 79-thousand dollars and paid 33-thousand in total taxes compared to 28 thousand on food, clothing and shelter.
