A new study is underway to look at maternity services available in northern and rural Ontario.
The report has recieved funding from both the federal and provincial government and is expected to take about a year to complete.
Wendy Peterson is the only midwife working in the Kenora and Rainy River Districts and says they want to consult women who have given birth recently or will be having a baby soon.
