Fundrazr Campaign Started to Build Freedom Road

A different approach to funding a roadway.
Winnipeg resident Rick Harp as started a fundrazr campaign hoping to build Freedom Road to Shoal Lake 40 First Nation.
Harp says the idea came to him after the federal government would not commit to funding the project during a recent ceremony in the community.
Harp has a lofty goal of 10 million dollars.
He notes that even if the goal isn’t reached the campaign is gaining a lot of support which will put more pressure on government to build Freedom Road.
None of the contributors will be charged unless the goal is reached by by august 29th.
