Internet connectivity looks like it will improve in the region.
This is after an announcement by the Red Lake District Chamber of Commerce about funding support in regards to regional Broadband and Internet Upgrades.
Project Management will be handled by the Chukuni Communities Development Corporation in place of Lake of the Woods Business Incentive Corporation in Kenora, and Patricia Community Endeavors in Dryden.
The chamber says it is expected that the project improve connectivity, eliminate bandwith congestion and decrease latency.
