UPDATE: Train Derailment Forces Evacuation

Residents near Fort Frances are being allowed to return home after 11 a.m., after a CN train derailment yesterday afternoon forced an evacuation.

As many as 14 rail cars, some believed to be carrying a fuel of some kind, left the tracks near Barwick.

About 60 homes were evacuated and the Norbord mill was shut down. Highway 11 in the area was also closed, but has since reopened.
