The 2005 season may have been the last for the Dryden Power Toboggan
Club.
Although ceasing operations is a last case scenario, it is one, after a year where
only 285 trail passes were sold, yet 2000 snowmobilers in Dryden decided to
use the system without paying.
A steady 6-year decline in the sale of permits and an overworked
volunteer team has also put the club on shaky ground.
Officials say they need more local youth to come out and help out the
older volunteers.
A general meeting will be held April 19th to discuss whether or not
the club will operate next year.
Future Cloudy for Dryden Power Toboggan Club
