The Northwestern Health Unit has expanded the visitor ban at the Pinecrest Home for the Aged in Kenora.
Last week, one ward was closed to visitors due to an outbreak of a norwalk-like virus.
Over the past few days, the infection has spread in the long term care facility and the Health Unit has decided to
impose a complete ban on visitors until the illness runs its course.
Health Unit spokesperson, Lyle Wiebe expects the visitor ban to remain in place a few more days.
