Residents in the City of Kenora can expect to see their tax bills to go up by 2.3 percent this year.
Kenora City Council approved the 2005 spending estimates Tuesday night.
Total spending this year will be 34.4 million dollars and
chair of the Finance Committee says they were able to bring the budget in this year without cutting any city services.
McMillan does say that the new municipal funding program announced by the province last week will put a lot of pressure on the city’s budget over the next three years.
