The community of Wabigoon has made it clear, they don’t want to see
their school close.
That message was stressed throughout Wednesday’s final public meeting
on the future of Wabigoon, Riverview and Pinewood schools.
A volunteer committee is looking at 4-options including amalgamating
all 3 and building a new school on the Riverview site or consolidating 2 and
replacing 1 school.
Parent Cheryl Parenteau says renovating Wabigoon would be a good start.
