The Gardner kids continue to impress south of the border.
When Vince and Donna Gardner decided to leave Eagle Lake First Nation and relocate to Minnesota, they believed they were giving their kids a better chance to shine in hockey.
And with the support of grandparents Philip and Rose, the kids have grabbed the U.S. spotlight.
Demi and Mariah Gardner have announced their intention to play college hockey at Minnesota State-Mankato.
Both girls are currently playing with the Warroad High School Hockey team.
Mariah, a centre, leads the Warriors in scoring with 14-goals and 29-points in just 10-games.
Demi, a right winger, has 7-goals and 15-points, in 7-games.
Older sister, Kayla, is a junior on the University of North Dakota team, and she has a goal and an assist this season for the Fighting Hawks.
Meantime, their brother, Damion Gardner is playing PeeWee hockey and is already turning heads with scouts.
