The Premier says he has been hearing from people who save tasks like dishes and laundry for late night hours but are still getting bigger hydro bills.

are low enough to encourage people to change their behaviour.
Customers with smart meters are charged lower electricity rates in off-peak hours and on weekends.
Meantime, NDP Leader Andrea Horwath says the Liberal
Government has wasted $1.5-billion on smart meters.
She says the program has been a dismal failure because no one is getting lower electricity bills.
