The Ontario government is promising people on social assistance that they will receive their money on time and in the correct amount.
Last month, the computer system underpaid and overpaid several recipients – some not getting a cheque at all.
A release from the province says it has taken steps to ensure glitches encountered aren’t repeated.
The Community and Social Services Ministry says if issues do arise, it’s prepared to deal with them promptly.
