The “Grandparent Scam” has reared its ugly head in Dryden again.
A local family was contacted by a man claiming to be their nephew.
He stated he was living in China and needed financial help due to an impaired driving charge.
The family did send some money with Visa gift cards.
Police say some of the money may have been recovered.
