The next few weeks will be crucial in deciding whether a junior hockey team will be coming to Kenora this fall.
A public meeting was held Tuesday night to hear some of the community concerns about bringing SIJHL hockey to the city.
Kevin McCallum is heading the group and believes he was able to reassure most of the people in attendance.
McCallum says in addition to ice time, facilities continue to be their biggest obstacle.
He notes he will be meeting with representatives from the Rec. Center to determine if there is space for a stand alone dressing room for the team.
