Sick and tired of watching Northwestern Ontario being ignored.
That’s the feeling of Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford, who says Highway 17 between Kenora and the Manitoba boundary is in desperate need of twinning.
He says he’s fed up with other projects being put ahead of this decades long plan.
Rickford says it’s been a frustrating seven years since the upgrades were first announced.
Rickford has repeatedly said that the TransCanada Highway in our area knows no race, colour or creed and anyone who drives it knows how dangerous it is.
