It’s official.
Greg Rickford has received the nomination as the Progressive Conservative candidate in Kenora-Rainy River for the upcoming provincial election.
The former Federal Minister of Natural Resources and FedNor was uncontested in voting held in Dryden Saturday.
PC leader Patrick Brown says Rickford brings exceptional experience to their modern, inclusive and pragmatic team.
Brown adds Rickford also brings a deep knowledge of health and Indigenous issues in the north and is champion of the Ring of Fire mining project.
Fort Frances Lawyer Douglas Judson stepped away as candidate to ensure the former Kenora MP won the nomination.
